Its not all hard work . . . !!!

Last month we had a lovely picnic/work day where we were all able to have a good chat about how the garden was developing. Everyone brought food and Josef and Vicky took some great photos.

We talked about what this great space means to all of us:

“Although the garden is still at the clearance stage it is already bringing the community together. On workdays I’ve seen people meet their neighbours, re-discover old friends and work colleagues, and make new  friends with similar interests”.    Kath

“I’d like to say that the garden is not just about digging and working, the most important part for me is to have an opportunity to really get to know lots of my neighbours and make good use of all our talents to create a welcoming active healthy space.”  Vicky
